Romanian-Japanese Innovation Forum 2023

Japan and Romania signed Strategic Partnership on 7 March 2023 by the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis and the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Fumio Kishida.
 
This Strategic Partnership represents the advancement of the Japanese -Romanian cooperation relations at the highest level and the transition to a higher stage of exploiting the bilateral potential, on three key dimensions: foreign policy and dialogue on security issues, economic cooperation and development assistance, respectively cooperation in the fields of culture, science and technology, innovation, research and development.
 
On this backdrop, the Japanese Embassy in Bucharest, the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in collaboration with Cluj-Napoca City Hall, the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM), the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization (MCID), the Romanian Embassy in Tokyo will organize the first edition of the 'Romanian-Japanese Innovation Forum' 2023 in at the Grand Hotel Italia in Cluj-Napoca, between 18-20 June 2023.
 
The Forum comprises a series of events and meetings aimed at creating a space for dialogue that will be the starting point for sustainable collaborations in the economy of the future, between companies, and organizations in Japan with relevant actors in Cluj, and Romania.
